1. Who runs the SelfAI AI Headshot Generator

SelfAI is operated by Rocket Digital Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong with offices at 1603, The L Plaza, 367-375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong. For privacy questions you can email us at hello@rocketdigital.ai.

2. What information the AI Photo Studio collects

2.1 Photos and uploaded content

When you use the SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator, you upload selfies or portraits to generate AI headshots, business portraits, LinkedIn photos, CV pictures and profile pictures. We process these images so that our AI photo studio can return generated results to your device. Uploaded photos and generated images may be temporarily stored to deliver the Service and are not used to train third-party foundation models.

2.2 Account, purchase and device data

We collect basic identifiers required to operate the Service, including device identifiers, app version, OS, language, in-app purchase or subscription status, and (where you create one) account email. We rely on standard App Store, Google Play and web platform identifiers.

2.3 Usage and analytics

We collect aggregated usage events (screens viewed, buttons tapped, errors) so we can keep the AI photo studio working well across iPhone, Android and the web. On the marketing website we also use cookies and local storage for analytics and conversion measurement.

3. How SelfAI uses your information

• To deliver the SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator: process selfies, generate AI headshots, return your results.
• To process subscriptions, credits and purchases through Apple, Google or our web payment processor.
• To prevent abuse, detect fraud and keep the Service safe for everyone.
• To analyze how features are used so we can improve photo styles, prompts and quality.
• To provide support when you contact us, and to send service-related communications.
• To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.

4. Legal bases for SelfAI processing

For users in the EU/UK we process information on the basis of (a) the contract you enter into with us when you use the Service, (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving SelfAI, (c) your consent for analytics and marketing where required by local law, and (d) compliance with our legal obligations.

5. Third-party services SelfAI relies on

To run a modern AI Photo Studio across iPhone, Android and the web we rely on a small number of trusted vendors. Each of them only receives the data they need to perform their service:

• Apple App Store / RevenueCat — to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions and entitlements on iOS, Android and web.
• Google Firebase — authentication, crash reporting, backend infrastructure and notifications for the SelfAI app.
• Google AdMob — to deliver advertising in supported tiers of the app (subject to your consent where required).
• OpenAI — for selected AI features and prompt processing inside the AI Photo Studio.
• Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting and AI processing for portions of the generation pipeline.
• Replicate — to run image generation models that produce AI headshots and stylized portraits.
• Fal.ai — additional inference for image generation features inside SelfAI.
• Google Analytics — aggregated traffic and product analytics on the marketing website and inside the apps.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook) — conversion measurement and audience insights for the SelfAI marketing website.
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly web analytics and Core Web Vitals monitoring for www.selfai.space.

6. SelfAI cookies and similar technologies

The marketing website uses cookies and local storage for essential functionality, analytics (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) and marketing measurement (Meta Pixel). Where required by law, we ask for your consent before loading non-essential trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

7. How long the AI Photo Studio keeps data

We retain uploaded selfies and generated AI headshots only as long as needed to deliver the Service and to support your account. Account information is kept for the lifetime of your account and for a limited period afterwards as required by law and for fraud prevention. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained for longer.

8. Your privacy rights as a SelfAI user

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your information, and to object to certain uses. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California users have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise these rights, email hello@rocketdigital.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by your local law.

9. Children and the SelfAI app

SelfAI is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. SelfAI security and uploaded selfies

We use industry-standard transport encryption (TLS), restricted access controls and reputable cloud infrastructure to protect uploaded selfies, generated AI headshots and account data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep SelfAI safe to use.

11. International data transfers for the SelfAI Service

SelfAI is operated from Hong Kong and uses cloud vendors with infrastructure in multiple regions. By using the Service you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate safeguards.

12. Updates to this SelfAI Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, vendors or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
